Anonymity: When you deal with selling products on ebay, there is no way for you to remain anonymous. Through the fact that your payment processor will have your name on it as well as your ebay account, it is impossible for you to start your sale anonymously. Craigslist websites give you the option of using an anonymous e-mail address generated by their server at the time of your posting so if you wish to remain anonymous until you deal directly with the person interested in your product, you may do so.
